Margaret is a pharmacist with all of her experience in retail pharmacy. She gained her honours degree in pharmacy from Strathclyde University in Glasgow before working for Boots as a Pharmacy Manager in one of their top ten busiest pharmacies in the U.K. Margaret then became a partner of a privately owned pharmacy in Glasgow, before moving to England.
After working as a locum pharmacist for many years she became a director and the Superintendent Pharmacist of WebMed Pharmacy Ltd.
I really enjoy working in an online environment where I can share the knowledge that I have gained over the years with our customers. Their main concern is that the service we offer is discreet and confidential and so we make sure that we deliver appropriately.
I have a particular interest in weight loss and have enjoyed supporting our patients on their weight loss journey.

Although online pharmacy is very different, I have thoroughly enjoyed the change, learning about different products and services that we offer our patients.
In particular, I have enjoyed learning about sexual health. This service has been a huge benefit to patients, especially over the last few years when getting an appointment at a sexual health clinic has been virtually impossible.
Our pharmacy offers patients a secure, discreet and safe platform where they can chat with a doctor or a pharmacist if needed, place orders, seek advice and information regarding conditions they may feel uncomfortable discussing with their GP face to face. Live chat is also a service we offer where patients can ask questions and get instant answers and reassurance while on our website wanting to place an order.
I enjoy interacting with the patients and giving them as much information that they may require to make an informed choice about their health.

I have worked in online pharmacies for 6 years.
Since starting at Webmed last year I have learned a lot more about medications and testing procedures, which I have found to be really interesting.
I enjoy all aspects of working in online pharmacy from dispensing medication to finding out and sending test results with signposting if needed.
The most rewarding part of working at webmed for me is dealing with customers or patients who are nervous and worried about having to order medication or positive test results. Once they have placed an order, they realise that there was no need to feel worried or afraid. We are normal people and we have dealt with all types of sexual health issues, questions and medication that may be seen as embarrassing illnesses.
Our customers and patients usually feel a huge sense of relief and are reassured after talking with us over the phone, email, live chat or receiving test results.
