Erections are primarily achieved through blood flow. Tadalafil works by helping to relax the blood vessels in your penis, allowing blood to flow into your penis when you get sexually excited. Tadalafil does not have an effect on your sexual desire but will improve your erection when you become sexually aroused.

Tadafil Daily should be taken once a day every day.

Tadalafil Daily should be taken at the same time every day; to ensure that you receive the full benefit of the medication, so it can be helpful to incorporate it into your daily routine(eg when having your breakfast). You may take it with or without food, as it will not affect how well it works.

Also, you are advised not to drink more than one or two units of alcohol (a small glass of wine or a small beer) before taking Tadalafil in order to get maximum benefit from taking your medication as drinking alcohol can temporarily affect your ability to get an erection. Grapefruit juice may also affect the effectiveness of Tadalafil and should be consumed with caution.

In most cases 2.5mg and 5mg are sufficient doses when taken daily, however the 5mg strength can also be taken as a one-off dose as detailed on the Cialis On Demand page.

The lower dose (2.5mg) takes 4-5 days before it becomes effective and then you will be able to respond to any sexual stimulation spontaneously.

Take one whole tablet of Tadalafil at the same time each day, with water. It can take up to five days for the low dose of Tadalafil to steadily build up in your system but then, an erection will be obtained spontaneously with any sexual stimulation without the need to plan ahead.  

Side effects are rare but you may experience:

• Headache
• Blocked nose
• Facial flushing
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Dizziness
• Increased sweating
• Abdominal pain

It’s a very rare side effect, but if you have a prolonged erection for more than 4 hours then you need to contact your doctor immediately.

Interactions :-

Nitrates interact very adversely with all phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors like Spedra, Viagra, Cialis, Levitra and sildenafil. They can cause a FATAL lowering of blood pressure and should NEVER be used together.

Nitrates include medications like GTN spray, isosorbide mononitrate and nicorandil for angina. Also, the recreational drugs called "poppers" should be avoided.
